Alistair is an experienced solicitor with a wide practice covering company, commercial, employment law and dispute resolution.
Before founding Tend Legal, Alistair was a partner at Woodfords Solicitors in South West London, where he built up more than 13 years’ experience advising small and medium sized business on an array of issues ranging from complex litigation to employee share schemes. Alistair is known for his approachable manner, zen-like calm, and clear commercial legal advice.
With three young children, there isn’t a lot of downtime, but when not working or reading bedtime stories, Alistair can be found listening to dusty old LPs, riding bikes and pretending not to watch cheesy US rom-drams.
Shona is the organisational powerhouse behind Tend Legal. A qualified solicitor, in recent years Shona has taken a step back from legal practice to focus on raising the next generation of Wells family lawyers. Now back with renewed energy, she is responsible for management, finance, admin and marketing of the firm.
When not designing slick workflows or doing the school-run, Shona can be found running, practising pilates, drinking tea, saving the planet and listening to 90’s indie music (often more than one at the same time). She cooks a chilli so good it can make a grown man cry.
Before joining Tend Legal, Neelam had a stellar career in legal innovation and tech (amongst other things, she was Director of Global Product at LegalZoom) so it’s fair to say that when it comes to delivering amazing legal services to small businesses, she knows what she’s talking about. Now she’s here to fulfil a long-held ambition of qualifying as a commercial lawyer.
Commercially astute, forward-thinking and enthusiastic, Neelam is passionate about helping start-ups and SMEs achieve their goals.
She’s also unfailingly cheerful. Seriously. Even on Mondays!
When Neelam isn’t busy renovating her home with her husband, she can often be found upcycling old furniture in her shed, discovering new eateries or testing out recipes on friends & family.
We’re looking for good people to join us.
Maybe you’re a qualified lawyer who is ready for a change. Or a paralegal looking for a position where you’ll be an integral and valued part of the team from day one.
Perhaps you feel you don’t fit in with the traditional firm structure. Or you need to work more flexibly. Maybe you’d just like to enjoy your work a bit more.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
